IU won back to back Big Ten games for the first time since 2007 after defeating Iowa, 24-21.
Wideout Cody Latimer made a push for Big Ten Player of the Week with seven catches for 113 yards and three touchdowns.
Cam Coffman started the game, but was pulled for Nate Sudfeld who threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown on his first pass. After Sudfeld failed to get anything going for IU, Coffman went back into the game.
Coffman was 21-for-32 for 315 yards and three touchdowns.
Kofi Hughes added six receptions for 110 yards. 77 of those yards came on an impressive catch and run by Hughes where he nearly got the ball into the end zone but was ruled out of bounds. That play eventually set up a pass to Latimer.
Stephen Houston had 52 yards on 18 carries, and the Hoosiers were unable to get anything going on the ground. Houston had a nine game streak with a touchdown broken today.
IU appears to finally be able to put away games and end up with a win. The Hoosiers will have their hands full next week as they host Leaders division leader Wisconsin.
