HOOSIERS 101

As expected, #1 IU took care of business against Bryant in the season opener. The Hoosiers defeated Bryant, 97-54

IU was of course led by center Cody Zeller who had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Zeller was also 8-of-10 shooting for the night. 

Freshman point guard Yogi Ferrell was impressive in his debut for the Hoosiers. Ferrell had 10 points, six assists, and five rebounds. 

Christian Watford struggled all night but still managed a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds, a single game high in rebounding for Watford. 

The bench was also impressive for IU. 

Freshman Jeremy Hollowell added 12 points. Remy Abell had another 12 points and Will Sheehey contributed 10. 

We'll have more up on this game in the next few days. 

IU will face North Dakota State on Monday.
